Bakels bakery group is a world leader in the field of baking ingredients. The company started in The Netherlands in 1904 and is now active on every continent.
The Dutch bread market is highly competitive and Bakels wanted to create a 'ready for use' high-end bread for their bakery clients.
The bread they developed combined the best of Bakel’s know-how and its quality ingredients.
They invited NTCP8 and our friends at JustDesign to help them develop a concept.
Our answer was as strong as it was simple. If you want a bread to be anything, you want it to be the best.
We decided on the product name 'Het Beste Brood' ('the best bread') and suggested this be displayed on top of each loaf.
The launch was multi layered and included special introductions for Bakels’ sales teams and the bakeries that wanted to sell it. We also created all the collateral to ensure maximum POS visibility.
The product is being supported through regular activations.
Het Beste Brood has grown into Bakels best selling bread concept.
